8th International Jewish Music Days in Szczecin Weaving Space Open-air concert Willa Ogrody Śródmieście, ul. Wielkopolska 19 Duet: Nata & Evgeny Free admission This is not music that fills the space – it is music that weaves it. Sound after sound, word after word, from voice, breath, silence – this is how an evening is created that does not impose itself in form, but builds its presence. The duo Nata & Evgeny invite you to listen intently, under the open sky – on stage, but without distance. The program includes original compositions and reinterpretations of Hebrew texts and motifs, sung in the original language. It includes, among others, "Adonai, el rachum," "Al jai," and the title track, "Tkanie przestrzeni" ("Weaving Space") – compositions spanning silence and rhythm, lyricism and simplicity. The program will also feature the shofar, a traditional Jewish horn used in liturgy at the beginning of the new year. Its raw, unprocessed sound will provide a powerful counterpoint to the delicate songs and their contemporary arrangements. The International Jewish Music Days is an annual festival held in Szczecin since 2018. The eighth edition is primarily associated with the 150th anniversary of the inauguration of the now defunct New Synagogue in Szczecin on Zielony Szaniec Street (today's Dworcowa Street). The music performed there will be played at concerts, and thanks to a virtual reconstruction, we will be able to see that it was one of the most beautiful buildings in our city.
